Introducing the Holbrook Public Library Fund
The Holbrook Public Library Fund, Inc. (HPLF) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in December of 2022. The Fund actively supports renovations of the Holbrook Public Library by raising funds through grant writing, endowments, fundraisers, business partnerships, and advocacy. It was established by a group of dedicated community members who recognized the vital role that the library plays in our town. Through generous donations and community support, we've been able to fund numerous projects that ensure our library remains a vibrant and essential resource for all.
We're excited about the future of our library and the opportunities for improvement. Since the Town of Holbrook has grown and evolved significantly since 1967, our library must adapt to meet the needs of our vibrant and expanding community. As we look ahead to more housing developments and continued growth, we envision a library that matches the dynamism of our town. Our current space presents an opportunity for us to create a modern, 21st-century library that offers ample meeting rooms, programming spaces, quiet study areas, and group project spaces. Addressing these needs will allow us to better serve our community with innovative and inclusive services. With these improvements, we can transform our library into a cornerstone of community engagement and learning.

What We Do
Our priority is to raise money for capital expenses like new building, major renovations, or perhaps an addition. We aim to achieve this through events, fundraisers, direct communication with donors, and outreach to businesses and corporations. The Library Fund is a legally registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization solely dedicated to the Holbrook Public Library's future.
